Summary of What We Do...
At a simple event organized at FCDP office, two newly established scholarships were awarded to students who excelled in SSLC exams 2020. The Chief Guest at the function, Mr. C P Venukuttan Pilla (Assistant Commissioner of Excise and Manager of Vimukthi, Kollam ) handed over the mementoes to Ms. Haritha Harrisson from Vaddy and Ms. Aneesha Bosco from Mundakkal. Present at the function was also Mr. Amjath Khan (Coordinator, Vimukthi, Kollam). The chief guest Mr. Venukuttan Pilla reminded the awardees of their responsibility of being leaders who can inspire others to be good. On the occasion, study materials were also distributed to deserving students The program was conducted ensuring the covid protocol. The scholarship being awarded to students excelling in SSLC exams is Rs. 5000.00 (five thousand only). Our sincere thanks to the benefactor who made this possible.

Don Bosco Boys' Home, as part of the month long celebrations in honour of our Father and Founder Don Bosco organized the parents meeting on 26th January 2016. Parents of 35 students actively participated in the meeting.
Don Bosco Tech Kollam was awarded and recognized as one of the best centers for its passion and commitment to help young people learn employable skills and start their careers, by Quest Alliance which has nearly 200 Partners all over India for skill training. Among the six centers selected, four are Don Boscos; Don Bosco Makkalalaya Mysuru, and two from Tamil Nadu. The award was handed over by Mr.Akash, CEO Quest Alliance on 10th February during a National Seminar on 'Bridging gap between Education and Skills' at the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. 
As part of 3rd Anniversary of DB tech Kollam, organized an alumni meet with their employers and parents. On this day,11 batch was inaugurated in the presence of auspicious personalities. The ceremony commenced with a prayer by the students of DB Tech, Kollam, followed by Ms. Smitha.RR (Faculty-BPO ) gave an introductory talk about the schedule of the day.
